The Lobos missed three 3-pointers in the last 15 seconds and were unable to tie the game as UNLV escaped with a 78-75 win on Senior Night at The Pit Monday night. UNM led most of the game, but UNLV’s Odartey Blankson led the Rebels comeback with 28 points and 12 rebounds. Javin Tindall scored 17 points in his last home game, while Danny Granger led UNM with 23 points. UNM (14-12, 5-8 MWC) will play its last regular season game next weekend at Colorado State.
