The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation released their 2003 men’s soccer Academic All-Conference selections today. The Lobos set a school record with nine players being named to the team, surpassing the previous high of eight in 1997.

Criteria for making the team were a 3.0 or better cumulative grade-point-average, student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically, student athlete must have competed one full academic year at the member institution prior to the season for which the award is being received, and student-athlete must have competed in 50% or more of the institution’s competition in the student athlete’s respective sport.

The Lobos led the MPSF with nine selections, followed by Denver (8), UNLV (7), Air Force (7), Sacramento State (3), San Diego State (3), and San Jose State (2).

The following Lobos were named to the MPSF All-Academic team today:
