WAHIAWA, Hawai’i – The New Mexico men’s golf team remained in first place at the John Burns Intercollegiate Thursday afternoon with a score of 276-279–555 (-21). The Lobos lead second-place UNLV by one stroke.
Spencer Levin continues to lead the field after firing a 7-under 65 in the second round.He is 12-under for the tournament (67-65–132), and leads Arizona State’s Henry Liaw by one stroke.
Jay Choi is also in the top 10, tied for sixth place with a 6-under 138 (68-70). Tyler Symons and Ian Medlock are each 1-over at 145, which places them in a tie for 55th. Jay Reynolds is 2-over at 146 (68-78).
The final round of the John Burns Intercollegiate continues Friday at the Leilehua Golf Course.
