The Lobos’ five-game winning streak came to an end in the 70-61 loss
at No. 6 Wake Forest…UNM is now 7-4 while the Demon Deacons improve
to 9-0…WFU has won 22 straight at home…New Mexico lost its 19th
straight road game overall and 20th consecutive game away from
Albuquerque, including neutral sites
New Mexico held the nation’s highest scoring team to its fewest points
of the season and 22 points below its scoring average…WFU came into
