ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Senior Divan Coetzee fell to Brown’s Jamie Cerretani 6-1, 6-1 at the 2003 ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships hosted by the University of Michigan on Friday.
Coetzee was competing in the consolation round after his tough loss to Ante Matijevic of Texas A&M on Thursday. Coetzee advanced to the tournament after winning the singles title at the ITA Mountain Regionals in Las Vegas, Nev. Oct. 22-26.
Up next for the Lobos is the Region VII Team Playoffs in Boise, Idaho Nov. 14-15. The competition will wrap up fall play for New Mexico.
