ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.– The University of New Mexico women’s swimming and diving team finished the Lobo Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 8 with a total of 596 points, placing the Lobos fourth out of the six schools who competed at the Armond H. Seidler Natatorium over the weekend.
Top swimmers for the Lobos were sophomore and junior . Miller claimed bronze in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:37.66 and placed third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.45). Dunavant claimed a bronze in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59.60.
Divers and filled the first and second spots for both days of the invite in the three-meter and one-meter dives. Barras claimed gold in the 3-meter dive on Friday with a 469.05 and Berghian came in second on the 3-meter with a score of 465.35. The duo continued to dominate on Saturday with Berghian claiming the gold in the 1-meter (262.95) and Barras taking the silver in the 1-meter (236.25)
