ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Senior guard Javin Tindall led four players in double figures with 26
points as New Mexico used a torrid start from the floor to coast to a
107-75 victory over Team Ezybonds in the first home exhibition game of the
season. UNM is now 5-0 in exhibition games this fall after winning four
games last month during a tour in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Team Ezybonds consists of players that participate as professionals in
Australia. A crowd of 12,381 was on hand at The Pit/Bob King Court to see
a Lobo team with as many newcomers as returning players.

New Mexico canned eight of its first 10 3-pointers on its way to making 12
of 26 treys for the evening. The Lobos built a 25-point lead three times
in the first half and led 56-36 at the break. UNM hit 55% (36-66) of its
shots from the floor led by the diminuitive Tindall, who missed just three
times in 13 attempts. He was 5 of 7 from beyond the arc.

Junior transfer Alfred Neale had a hustling 16 points and tied David
Chiotti for team-high honors with seven rebounds. UNM outrebounded
Ezybonds 49-30. Chioitti added 14 points while Jeff Hart chipped in with
10.

The Lobos play their final exhibition game Sunday, Nov. 16 against the EA
Sports All-Stars. Game time is 7 p.m. They open the regular season Nov.
