Albuquerque, N.M. – The University of New Mexico women’s swimming and diving team placed third on the first day of the Lobo Invitational at the Armond H. Seidler Natatorium.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay, UNM came in third with a time of 1:39.86. Sophomore Robyn Miller took the silver in the 500-yard freestyle with a respectful time of 5:05.35.
UNM finsihed the day with a total of 166 points. In second came NAU with 268 points and in first place was CSU with a top score of 315.50. All scores do not include diving results due to a delay in the diving events.
Saturday (Nov. 8) will be the final day of the Lobo Invitational. Events start at 9:00 a.m.
