ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico gained 578 yards of total offense, but six turnovers helped UNLV down the Lobos 37-35 in front of 29,179 at University Stadium. DonTrell Moore had 130 yards rushing, Dwight Counter had six catches for 171 yards and Casey Kelly threw for 408 yards on 23-of-38 passing to lead the UNM offense. The Lobos undoing though was three interceptions, three fumbles and nine penaltie for 96 yards. The loss drops UNM to 5-4 overall and 2-2 in th conference, while UNLV improves to 5-4 on the season and 1-3 in the Mountain West. The Lobos return to action on Firday, November 7, against Colorado State at 7 PM in University Stadium.
