MPSF Rankings: Sophomore Lance Watson is seventh in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation scoring with 11 points and fourth in goals with five.

Six Tough Losses: Six of the Lobos’ seven losses this season have come against opponents that were ranked when they faced UNM. Three of those four losses have been by one goal, No. 18 UW Milwaukee (1-0 on 8/31), No. 21 Tulsa (3-2 on 9/12) and No. 9 SMU (1-0 on 9/13). UNM is 7-26-0 all-time against ranked opponents.

4-Game Slide: The Lobos are on a four-game losing streak for the first time since the 2001 season.

Streak Broken: UNLV broke UNM’s 14-game home unbeaten streak. The last two home losses the Lobos have suffered have been against the Rebels.

UNM’s Record Book: Junior goalkeeper Andrew Weber is moving up the Lobo record book in shutouts and saves. He currently is tied with Dana Rogge (’87) for fourth in shutouts with 13. He needs two more to tie Paul Branch (’85), Nate Busek (’93) and Greg Hess (’97) for the all-time mark of 15. Weber moved into second place in all-time saves at UNM with 247 and needs 91 to tie Nate Busek (’93) for the top spot at 338.
