Ask the Player: Javin Tindall Chat Archive: Throughout the 2003-04 basketball season, GoLobos.com will be conducting “Ask the Coach/Player” sessions with different Lobo men’s basketball coaches and players. This weekÂ’s featured guest is senior Javin Tindall. Javin is a two-year starter for the Lobos who is one of the best shooters on the team. Earlier this season he tied a UNM record by hitting nine of 11 three pointers at UNLV. Javin is hitting over 40% of his 3-pt. attempts and he leads the Mountain West Conference in 3-pt. FGÂ’s per game, averaging 2.64 each time out. Tindall is also near the top in the MWC rankings in FT percentage. He has hit 83.3% of his attempts from the foul line this season. Tindall is second on the team in scoring, averaging over 12 points-per-game, and he is also near the top in assists with over 3.5 assists-per-game. Javin transferred to UNM from Redlands Community College (El Reno, Okla.) where he was a JC all-American and led Redlands to the NJCAA Division II National Championship in 2002.
