Albuquerque, NM – On Saturday, March 8th, the University of New Mexico will take on BYU for the final home contest of the 2002-03 season. The winner will garner the second seed at next week’s Mountain West Conference tournament, drawing San Diego State in a 7:00 pm game (MST). Several special promotions will be going on before and after the game.
Currently more than 16,500 tickets sold. It will be a Youth Day so tickets will be $1.00 for anyone ages 18 & under.
There will be events in the parking lot which will include: a car show, inflatable games, a live remote by M-88, First State Bank trading cards, Dairy Queen promotions.
Before the game UNM will honor the five Lobo seniors. After the game the five will address the fans followed by an autograph session with the whole team.
This game will be also be the first chance for new fans to purchase 2003-04 tickets.
