While the Lobo women’s basketball team battles conference foe, Air Force at the Pit on Saturday, Jan. 18, Albuquerque businesses will be showing off their stuff at the Fifth Annual Women’s Expo on the concourse of University arena.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m. and continuing through the game, tables will be set up to give out information and coupons and recruit for jobs. Tip-off for the women’s game is slated for 7 p.m.
Businesses and organizations participating in the event include America Online, Planned Parenthood, Exhib-it, Edward Jones, Dancing Eagle Casino, AFLAC, First USA Bank, Albuquerque Legal, YMCA, Lovelace Health Systems, Theobroma Chocolatier, UNM Women’s Resource Center, Girl Scouts, The Plus Group, Wal-Mart Grocery Distribution, and more.
Fans who visit at least 10 booths during the expo will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a pair of 2003-04 Women’s basketball season
