Lobo Football fans eager to buy Las Vegas Bowl gear before the big game are able to do so thanks to Zia Graphics. As soon as UNM accepted the invitation to play in the Las Vegas Bowl, Zia Graphics obtained a license to print Las Vegas Bowl gear specifically for the New Mexico Lobos.
Graphic Industries, Inc., the parent company of Zia Graphics, is officially licensed to produce New Mexico Lobos merchandise. Graphic Industries, Inc. operates the Lobo Store at the Pit, the Lobo Store Uptown at New Mexico Look, and an online store at www.unmlobos.com.
Holiday shoppers can avoid the hassle of the mall by shopping across the street at the Lobo Store Uptown in New Mexico Look located at 6611 Menaul NE. Licensed Las Vegas Bowl merchandise will be sold at the Sam Boyd Stadium, but Zia Graphics recognized a need for New Mexico fans to have red Lobo bowl merchandise to show their support for the football team on the road and in the stands in Las Vegas.
The UNM Athletics Department hopes for a strong fan turnout in Las Vegas, and Zia Graphics has supported that effort by providing red bowl gear featuring the Lobos prominently. Merchandise was produced and in the Lobo stores by the end of the week and response has been tremendous.
The first run of merchandise was nearly sold out as Lobo fans snapped up T-shirts, long sleeves, and caps at the Lobo Basketball games last weekend.
