The two concluded the meet with top times in the championship finals of their events. Will earned ninth place in the 100 free with a final time of 52.50. Miller’s time of 2:08.70 in the 200 back finals was good enough to give the Lobo newcomer 15th place among a group of talented swimmers from Tennessee, Indiana, Clemson, Miami, Cincinnati and Evansville.
Kelsey Leckovic also competed in the 100 free with teammate Will. The Burnaby, B.C. native swam to a 18th place finish with a finals time of 53.56. Lobos Whitney Thomson and Lindsay Fagrelius also placed well in the 200 back, finishing 22nd and 24th respectively. In the championship finals of the 200 breast Heather DiLuzio had a time of 2:25.96 which placed her in 12th overall. Aimee Dunavant finished 21st in the championship finals of the 200 fly with a time of 2:10.85.
A pack of Lobos finish together in the 1650 free lead by 13th place finisher Nicole Overeem (17:47.94). She was followed by Heather Morsilli in 14th (18:00.74), Lindsay Jeter in 15th (18:01.07) and Megan Verbrugge in 16th (18:21.99).

On the platform, divers Becca Barras and Tracey Berghian fared well despite being at a disadvantage to the other competitors. The UNM diving facilities at the Seidler Natatorium do not include a platform for Lobo divers to practice on so instead, competition is used to gain experience in the event.
Barras had the top Lobo score on the platform with 336.80 points, giving her seventh place. Tracey Berghian finished in tenth with a score of 296.75.
The Indiana Invite concludes the Lobos’ fall schedule of competition. The team kicks of its 2003 season on Jan. 10 in Albuquerque with a meet against Northern Arizona. i
