Women’s Basketball: Lobos Ink Another One, As Timiyin E-Nunu Signs A Letter Of Intent

Albuquerque, NM – The University of New Mexico women’s basketball program has signed another player to a national letter of intent. Timiyin E-Nunu a 5’11 forward from Rancho Cucamonga, California has agreed to play for New Mexico starting in 2003.

E-Nunu averaged about eight points, 12 rebounds and five blocked shots last season for the Etiwanda High School Eagles. She also was recruited by St. Mary’s (Calif.), Pepperdine, Rice, USC and UCLA

E-Nunu, was also a high jumper for the high school’s track team before concentrating on basketball.

The Lobos add E-Nunu to two others who have also signed with UNM. Katie Montgomery, a 5’10 guard from Lincoln, Neb., and 6-foot shooting guard Julie Briody of Lynville, Ind., signed Wednesday.9
