Women’s Basketball: New Mexico Announces That Transfer Jenny Shetters Will Play in 2003-2004

Albuquerque, NM New Mexico womens basketball head coach Don Flanagan has announced that Jenny Shetters, a transfer from Cal State Northridge has agreed to play for UNM in 2003-2004.

Shetters a 6-foot, 4-inch post player from Portland, Oregon has decided to leave Cal State Northridge to come to UNM. Last season she was named second-team all-Big West. She averaged 14.2 points per game, good enough for third in the conference, and more than five rebounds a game.

Shetters will sit out next season but will be allowed to practice with the team. She will be eligible to play for the 2003-2004 season. Shetters will replace current post player, Jordan Adams, who will graduate next season.
