Adams has also moved closer to becoming the ninth player in New Mexico women’s basketball history to score 1,000 points. Adams now only needs 32 points. Along with her scoring Adams is also New Mexico’s career shot blocker with 199 in her three years. Adams is also fourth all-time for both the men and the women in blocked shots and she needs only 21 to move into fourth place behind Kenny Thomas and Luc Longley.
