Please review the credential guidelines and policies below. At the bottom of this page is the link to request all-sport, season and individual game credentials for the 2022-23 athletic year. Please enter your information and your requests for season passes or individual game passes. Note that single game credentials for football should be submitted 72 hours prior to the game.
For questions regarding your application, please contact Frank Mercogliano at email@example.com. Thank you for your interest Lobo Athletics.
Requests for all working media credentials for all athletic events should be directed to the UNM Athletic Communications office. All scouting credentials should also come to UNM Athletic Communications, via the form below.
Credential requests are honored for accredited media on specific assignments for daily newspapers, university publications, primary television news outlets, and websites with a news component. Credentials will not be issued to writers, photographers or videographers working on a freelance basis unless the request is made by a recognized publication or news organization. Season-long credentials are issued in August; single-game credentials for football should be made 72 hours prior to the contest and 48 hours for men’s or women’s basketball.
Credentials for the season are granted based on a variety of factors, not limited to but including:
*For newspapers, mediums must be daily with a significant sports section and a dedicated sports staff.
*For television, mediums must have a dedicated sports department and a daily sportscast.
*For radio, credentials are limited to hosts of a daily show encompassing at least 10 hours of weekly content. Podcasts are not considered radio and in general are not credentialed for UNM games.
*For internet sites, credentials are limited to those who can showcase a dedicated sports news component.
Those that don’t fall into those guidelines may apply but credentials are subject to availability.
Freelance photographers and journalists may apply for single-game credentials only.
Single game credentials for sports other than football or men’s and women’s basketball can be made via emailing the appropriate communications contact:
Frank Mercogliano, Asst. A.D. (football, men’s and women’s tennis)
Steve Kirkland, Director (men’s basketball, men’s and women’s golf)
Allison Weiss, Asst. Director (women’s basketball, volleyball, softball)
Evan O’Kelly, Asst. Director (women’s soccer, track & field/cross country/baseball)
Please note that unless otherwise noted, your media credential will act as a parking pass.
