REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2015): Made his collegiate debut on Sept. 30 against San Francisco in his only action of the season and played 10 minutes.

FRESHMAN (2014): Redshirt season … named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

CLUB/DEVELOPMENTAL: Participated in the Olympic Development Program for two years.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-time All-Metro and two-time All-State performer at El Dorado, which won the 5A State Championship in 2011 and advanced to the state title game again the following season.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 20, 1995 to Jason and Jordie Hix … has two siblings, Jordan and Jessica … his father, Jason, played soccer at UNM from 1992-94 (and who still ranks in the top five in program history for assists) becoming the first second generation member of the Lobo Soccer program … favorite movie is Gladiator and his favorite food is steak … came to UNM for “its winning tradition.”
