Tomley joins The University of New Mexico in August of 2019 as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving for the Lobo Club. In her role, she works with the director of annual giving in all facets of running the Lobo Club’s annual fund drive. She also assists in putting on many events, including the annual auction.
Tomley spent a year and a half as a graduate assistant in event management at the University of Alabama where she assisted with planning, organizing, and coordination of sporting events for 500-100,000 people. She also helped plan and execute the six-team 2018 NCAA Regional Gymnastics Championship. In her time with Alabama she worked with several teams including football and men’s basketball.
She earned her degree from Alabama in 2018 with a bachelor’s in kinesiology and exercise science and in 2019 with a master’s in business. She was a four-year letterwinner as a swimmer, qualifying for four SEC meets, three NCAAs, three U.S. Opens and the 2016 Olympic Trails. She was a two-time NCAA All-America selection and a CoSIDA Academic All-America.
