Karla Paul is a three-time graduate of The University of New Mexico, having graduated with her Education Specialist degree in 2014, her Master of Arts in Special Education in 1995, and her bachelor’s degree in Communications in 1993.
As a Learning Strategist, Karla assists student-athletes as they pursue their goal of degree completion. Her experiences as a former teacher and accommodations specialist at the college level allow her to guide her best practices in helping the students perform well in the classroom.
Karla has been married to Rick for the past 35 years. They have two grown children, Nate and Jacqueline. They also have one grandson from Nate and their daughter-in-law Olivia. Jacqueline played Division I volleyball at the University of Denver.
