Dada Willis-Gregory joined UNM Athletics in August of 2016, and she currently is Assistant Director for Student-Athlete Success UNM, and she also holds the title of Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Director.  She spent her first two seasons as a senior student success manager.

Willis-Gregory currently oversees men’s basketball and men’s and women’s tennis.  All three programs have turned in record semesters during her time overseeing academics for those programs.  In her time at UNM, she has also overseen academics for the sports of baseball, women’s golf, men’s soccer and skiing.  As the Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Director, Willis-Gregory works with the department and many departments on campus on initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion for staff and student-athletes.

Previous to UNM, she spent six years at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.  Her first three were as an assistant women’s basketball coach before transitioning into academics.

She earned a bachelor’s in kinesiology and exercise science from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in 2013 before earning a master’s in public administration from TAMU-CC in 2015. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Sport Administration at UNM. The native of Cleveland, Ohio and her partner Taryn have been married since 2016. The two enjoy providing foster services to Albuquerque youth.
