In first season with the Lobos earned mention on the Buster Posey National Collegiate Catcher of the Year Award watch list…started 34 games and played in 41 behind the plate…ranked third on the team and fifth in the conference with 12 home runs…ranked third on the team and fifth in the conference with a slugging percentage of .633…reached base at a clip of .371…hit a walk-off home run on March 28 vs. Texas Tech…hit two home runs on March 3 vs. St. Bonaventure and again on April 23 at Air Force…added seven doubles and a triple among 50 hits…totaled 39 RBIs and 29 runs scored…batted .333 on the season…defensively committed just two errors in 245 chances for a fielding percentage of .992…had a season-high three hits on four occasions…had a season-high five RBIs and nine total bases on March 3 vs. St. Bonaventure…had a season-high 13 putouts on Feb. 17 vs. Oregon State…had a season-high three assists on April 30 vs. Fresno State.
