NEW MEXICO: Returning starter on the offensive line who is poised to have a monster senior season in 2013 … an all-conference candidate who needs to continue along the same path of improvement on the field and in the weight room … consistently graded out the highest of all offensive linemen in 2012 … redshirted in 2009.

2013 (SENIOR):Named preseason third team All-Mountain West by both Phil Steele and College Sports Madness … started all 12 games for the Lobos and finished his career with 29 straight starts … led the offensive line in overall grade for each of the first six games of the season … finished with 75 knockdown blocks to help pave the way for the No. 4 rushing attack in the nation (308.8 ypg) … only missed 10 assignments in 845 plays for a final assignment grade of 99 percent … despite playing left tackle, was not penalized for holding all season … had a tremendous start to the season against UTSA on Aug. 31, leading the line in overall grade, technique grade, assignment and knockdown blocks (12) … was perfect on assignment and graded out highest overall on the line for his work against UNLV on Sept. 28 as the Lobos rushed for 497 yards … received the highest overall grade on the line when UNM rushed for 541 yards against New Mexico State on Oct. 5 … led the team with six knockdown blocks at Fresno State on Nov. 23 … started 38 games in his Lobo career and earned Honorable Mention All-Mountain West honors following the season.

2012 (JUNIOR): Started 12 of 13 games at left tackle … earned All-Mountain West honorable mention honors as he helped UNM finish No. 5 in the country in rushing offense at an average of 301.3 yards per game … played 844 snaps with an overall grade of 83 percent and 120 knockdown blocks … received the highest overall grade on the offensive line against Wyoming on Nov. 10, grading out at 86 percent … finished with a grade of 97 percent on assignments and was credited with nine knockdown blocks … once again received the highest overall grade among lineman, recording an 81 percent against UNLV on Nov. 3 … graded out at 84 percent effort, which also led the team, and was credited with five knockdown blocks vs. the Rebels … led the team in three grading areas against Fresno State on Oct. 27: technique (72 percent), effort (85 percent), and overall (85 percent) … tied for second on the team with an assignment grade of 99 percent on 71 plays against the Bulldogs … also led the team with 13 knockdown blocks against Fresno … once again led the way for Lobo offensive linemen, receiving an overall grade of 91 percent for his play at Air Force on Oct. 20 … was one of two Lobos to grade out at 100 percent on assignments against the Falcons, and finished second with 11 knockdown blocks as UNM rushed for a season-high 409 yards … tied for the team lead with a grade of 99 percent assignment and in knockdown blocks with 11 against Hawaii on Oct. 13 … led the team with an overall grade of 83 percent against the Warriors as the Lobos ran for over 300 yards for the fourth straight week … was perfect on assignments (in 62 plays) for the fourth straight week against Texas State on Oct. 6 … led the team with an overall grade of 88 percent and also tied for the team lead with 10 knockdown blocks against the Bobcats … was awarded a grade of 100 percent assignment for the third straight week as the Lobos rushed for 330 yards against No. 24 Boise State on Sept. 29 … finished with an overall grade of 73 percent and five knockdown blocks against the Broncos … graded out at 100 percent assignment against New Mexico State on Sept. 22, the second straight week he received a perfect score in that area … led the Lobos with an overall grade of 87 percent, and tied for second on the team with 12 knockdown blocks against the Aggies … started at right tackle against Southern on Sept. 1 … turned in the best performance among the starting linemen with 87 percent overall grade and a 100 percent grade on assignments in 46 plays…led the team with 10 knockdown blocks. 2011 (SOPHOMORE): Started at left guard during the season opener but then made the move to right tackle for four starts during a seven-game span…made two starts in the final four games at left tackle, including the season finale vs. No. 8 Boise State. 2010 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN):Due to injuries, was forced into action midway through the year and started the final six games at right tackle…logged 610 plays and gained valuable experience.

HIGH SCHOOL:Late bloomer who only played two years of high school football…all-district offensive tackle as a senior in 2008…participated in the U.S. Army Redstick Bowl, a postseason all-star game in Baton Rouge…played for head coach Mike Roach.
