ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The Mountain West released the women’s basketball conference schedule on Thursday, which features the standard nine home games highlighted by two nationally televised home games.

New Mexico was selected for two of the four television broadcasts this season, the Jan. 12 home game against UNLV on CBS Sports Network and the Colorado State home game on Feb. 4 on FS1.

UNM opens conference on the road at Air Force on Dec. 29 before the conference home opener on New Year’s Day against Nevada. The Lobos return to the road at San Diego State (Jan. 4) before hosting Wyoming (Jan. 8) and UNLV (Jan. 12) leading up to their first bye.

A trip to Colorado State (Jan. 18) and Utah State (Jan. 21) proceeds a home game against Fresno State (Jan. 25) and a trip to Boise State (Jan. 28) to close January.

UNM has four home games in February, starting with two against San Diego State (Feb. 1) and Colorado State (Feb. 4), and Boise State (Feb. 13) and Utah State (Feb. 22). The Lobos have three road games in the month at UNLV (Feb. 8), San José State (Feb. 19) and Wyoming (Feb. 26) with their second bye occurring Feb. 15.

Leading up to the Mountain West Tournament in Las Vegas, UNM closes the regular season at Fresno State (March 1) and at home against Air Force (March 4).

In total, the Lobos have 22 home games on the schedule and 11 road games.
