UNM Loses Game Two to BSU

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— Boise State scored five runs in the first inning and put up a run in each of the five innings of Friday’s Mountain West contest, with the Lobos scoring one run in the bottom of the fifth in the 14-1 final.

UNM registered three hits in the game with Rachael Hathoot, Emma Bramson and Jenna Trim all with one, while Trim accounted for the RBI on a double to right field that drove in Bramson, who reached on a single to center.

Emmalyn Brinka got the start for the second-straight game, going 1.1 innings before Trim entered in relief and went 1.0 inning. Samantha Fohrman spelled Trim and went 2.0 innings before Bella Mitchell recorded the final 0.2 innings of play.

The series with the Broncos concludes on Saturday at 12 p.m. with an Easter egg hunt postgame on the field.
