UNM Travels to Texas Tech for Final Non-Conference Tournament

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.—The Lobos close their non-conference tournament schedule at the Texas Tech Invitational starting on Friday, with two opponents that UNM has already faced this season in Texas Tech and Buffalo, while facing Manhattan for the first time in program history. UNM defeated Buffalo 11-2 in five innings and lost 12-7 to Texas Tech earlier this season.

Only the Texas Tech games will be streamed on ESPN+, but live stats will be available for all games.

  • UNM had four stolen bases in each of the games against Cal State Bakersfield and 14 games with a stolen base.

  • UNM has used 21 different lineups this season, using only the same batting order in the first two games.
  • The Lobos have had five different players hit second, five different players hit third, four different players in the cleanup spot, five different players bat fifth, eight different players hit sixth, six different players hit seventh, eight different players hit eighth and five different players hit ninth.
  • Peyton Robinson has hit leadoff in 21 games, with Keyannah Chavez second in 10 games, Rachael Hathoot third in 11 games (including the last seven and 10 of the last 11) and Chloe Yeatts has been the cleanup hitter in 10 games, although Lauren Garcia has hit in that spot in four of the last five games.
