Lobos Host Fresno State Tuesday on Senior Night

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – The New Mexico men’s basketball team will conclude its home schedule Tuesday night when it hosts Fresno State. Game time at The Pit is 8:30 p.m. and the game will air on FS1 and the Lobo Radio Network.

Prior to Tuesday’s game, the Lobos’ five graduating seniors will be honored on Senior Night. Josiah Allick, Jaelen House, KJ Jenkins, Emmanuel Kuac and Morris Udeze will be recognized.

The Lobos (20-9, 7-9 MW) is coming off a buzzer-beating 73-71 loss to No. 22 San Diego State on Saturday night. New Mexico is led by Jamal Mashburn, Jr., who leads the Mountain West in scoring at 19.6 ppg. Udeze leads the conference in rebounding (9.3 ppg), field goal percentage (60.7%) and double-doubles (12).

Fresno State (10-18, 6-11 MW) is coming off a 60-56 home loss to Nevada on Friday night. The Bulldogs are second in the conference in scoring defense, allowing just 64.4 points per game.

Fresno State leads the all-time series 21-17, but New Mexico holds an 11-3 advantage in The Pit. The Bulldogs have won seven straight in the series, including a 71-67 victory in Fresno on Jan. 3 that handed the Lobos their first loss of the season.

New Mexico will conclude its regular season schedule on Friday when it visits Colorado State. Game time is 9:00 p.m. and the game will air on FS1.
