ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s golf team will travel to Bryan, Texas for the Aggie Invitational on Saturday, April 7 through Sunday, April 8. The tournament, held at the Traditions Golf Club, will include three rounds, two on Saturday and one on Sunday. This is also the last regular-season tournament that UNM will compete in before the Mountain West Championships later in April.

The Lobos will be represented by the same five golfers that competed at the 3M Augusta Invitational, including redshirt senior Andre Garcia, junior Sean Carlon, sophomore Sam Dickey, redshirt freshman Ross Sinclair and freshman Galven Green. Green and Carlon led the team at in Georgia, with both shooting an even 216 total throughout the tournament. 

UNM will face a loaded field in Texas, facing seven top-25 teams along including No. 1 Oklahoma State, No. 2 Texas A&M, No. 5 Texas Tech, No. 7 Alabama, No. 9 Baylor, No. 12 LSU and No. 19 Arkansas. The second half of the field includes New Mexico, Kent State, who received votes in the NCAA poll, Denver, Houston, Michigan, New Mexico State and North Texas.
