ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Four University of New Mexico football players earned second-team honors on Phil Steele’s Postseason all-Mountain West team, the publication has announced.
Junior running back Kasey Carrier, junior defensive end Jacori Greer, junior punter Ben Skaer and sophomore kick returner Chase Clayton were the four players that made the second-team list.
Junior offensive tackle Darryl Johnson, sophomore LaMar Bratton, junior linebacker Dallas Bollema and senior strong safety Matt Raymer each received third-team honors.
Of the 84 honorees on the Phil Steele’s all-MW teams, eight were from UNM. The Lobos had the fifth highest total among the 10 schools. The breakdown is as follows:
