* UNM wins an unprecedented 3rd Mountain West regular-season title in the past 4 years…the Lobos share the championship with San Diego State

* New Mexico will be the No. 2 seed in next week’s MW Tournament in Las Vegas

* How impressive is 3 conference titles for UNM in the past 4 years? Before Steve Alford took over, it took New Mexico 35 seasons to win three conference titles: 1973-74 and 1977-78 under Norm Ellenberger and 1993-94 under Dave Bliss
