As far as challenging for the title in the Arizona Intercollegiate, the Lobos have a long ways to go, down 22 shots after 36 holes to Pepperdine. But the Lobos are still looking to pass a few teams and a few individuals in today’s final round of the 54-hole tourney.

Pepperdine set the 36-hole pace earlier today by coming in with a team score of 565. Pepperdine was being chased by San Diego State’s two-round card of 568. The Lobos were at 587, a shot behind Brigham Young, also a Mountain West Conference member.
