New Mexico won its 19th straight home game, 4th-longest in school history and currently the 5th-longest in the nation…the Lobos have won 28 of their past 29 in The Pit and are 40-3 in their last 43.

6 in each of the past 2 games…it’s the most points by the Lobo reserves since they tallied 33 against Alcorn State on Dec. 20.

Senior forward David Chiotti moved past Darrell McGee
(1987-90) into 25th place on the UNM career scoring list with 983 points…he also passed Charlie Thomas (1988-89) on the career rebounding list and now ranks 21st all-time with 531.
Senior guard Kris Collins came of the bench to score 9 points and dish out 3 assists, his most points in 4 games.
Junior forward Joel Box played 9 minutes and had 8 points, including a season-high two 3-pointers, in his first game since Dec. 22
Freshman forward Daniel Faris scored the first points of his career with just over a minute left in the first half…Faris finished with 6 points (1-2 FGs) and was 4-4 from the FT line…he had been 0-3 from the field with no trips to the foul line in his first 9 games.
