The University of New Mexico athletics department and head football coach Rocky Long will host the 11th annual UNM Women’s Football Clinic on Wednesday, August 4th at 5 p.m. in the south end zone of University Stadium. This clinic is exclusively for female Lobo fans of all ages. All who attend the clinic will have an opportunity to experience and learn more about the game of football directly from the 2004 UNM coaching staff and players.
In addition to gaining extensive knowledge about this year’s team, there will be an on-field clinic, giveaways, and a raffle. The clinic is being provided for women of all knowledge levels eager to learn more about football. Food will be provided by Tucanos Brazilian Grill, and there will be plenty of beer, wine, soda, and water on hand as well.
The cost of the clinic is $20 per person and all proceeds benefit the “Send-A-Kid” Program, which allows underprivileged youth throughout the State of New Mexico to attend Lobo Football games.
