JUNIOR (2017 AT UNM): Redshirt 2017 … Did get a hit in his first and only plate appearance as a Lobo in 2017 – a single against New Mexico State in El Paso on March 7.

SOPHOMORE (2016 AT NMJC): Hit .405 in 56 games (205 at-bats) for New Mexico Junior College … Hit 12 home runs with 72 RBI (second on the team and 26th in the nation) and 57 runs … Added 17 doubles and two triples to finish with a slugging percentage of .702 … Hit two home runs and had six RBI in a game against Frank Phillips (April 2) … Had a 12-game hit streak from Feb. 28-Mar 25 and from April 15-May 6 (including a 10-game stretch of multiple hit games from April 15-30).

FRESHMAN (2015 AT NMJC): Hit .405 in 45 games (153 at-bats for NMJC with six home runs and 44 RBI … Got his first collegiate hit against Trinidad State on Feb. 14, a game he went 3-for-3. … Hit his first collegiate home run March 13 against El Paso CC … Had a career-best 13-game hitting streak from April 10-29 where he went 23-for-47 (.489).

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 1, 1995 to James and Yolanda Deimling … Has two siblings: Jamie (23) and Jacque (17) … Helped lead La Cueva High School (Albuquerque, N.M.) – along with three other current Lobos in Austin Bell, Andrew Pratt and Chad Smith – to the 2014 Class 5A state title his senior year while hitting .422 … Was named Second Team All-State as a senior and selected to the North/South All-Star Game … Hit .445 as a junior and was named the NMPreps.com North Class 5A Junior of the Year … Hit .402 as a sophomore and was named the NMPreps.com North Class 5A Sophomore of the Year … Was a three-time All-Metro player and a two-time all-district player.
