SENIOR: Named a team captain… Broke two UNM program records at the Mountain West Championships, the first as an individual in the 200 back (1:58.33) in the prelims, the second as a member of the second-place overall 800-free relay team (7:12.04), both at the Mountain West Championships… Posted seven top-five finishes on the season… Finished first at Pepperdine in the 100 back with a time of 59.96… Took second at home against NAU in the 200 fly (2:06.91)… Competed against NMSU and placed third in the 200 back (2:12.42)… Touched fourth in the 200 back (2:10.34) at the Air Force Tri-Meet, in the 100 fly (2:11.89) against NMSU, and in the 200 fly (1:59.50) at the Mountain West Championships… Helped her team place seventh in the 400 medley relay (3:41.95) at the Mountain West Championships.

JUNIOR: At the Phill Hansel Invite finished 12th overall in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:01.05, finished seventh in the A Final of the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:03.18, and swam the second leg (1:52.12) of the 800-yard freestyle relay that finished third with a time of 7:22.39…At the MW championships, swam the third leg (1:48.71) of the 800-yard freestyle relay that finished fourth with a time of 7:12.43 and set a new UNM school record, in the 100-yard backstroke swam a 54.79 in prelims and finished 14th overall in finals with a time of 55.39, in the 200-yard butterfly swam 1:58.30 in prelims to set a new UNM school record and placed second overall in finals with a time of 1:58.38…Earned all-conference in the 200-yard butterfly

SOPHOMORE: Won the B-final at the Mountain West Championships in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:00.54 … Was part of 800 freestyle relay team that took fourth place at the Mountain West Championships with a season-best time of 7:21.33 (just 0.63 seconds off the school record) … Took seventh in the 200 butterfly (2:02.23) at the Phill Hansel Invite in Houston

FRESHMAN: Helped the 800-yard freestyle relay take eighth at the MW Championships and set a school record (7:20.70). … Won the 200 fly versus New Mexico State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named a USA Scholastic All-American while at Chaparral HS in Scottsdale, Ariz. … As a senior swam the 100 yard backstroke in 55.69, the 200 back in 2:01.02, and the 200 butterfly in 2:04.15.

PERSONAL: Born to Kirk and Cindy Huffer in Oak Harbor, Wash. … Has one sister, Kelly (19) who swims for the United States Naval Academy… Favorite food is any type of Mexican food … Enjoys watching Netflix and hand lettering in her free time … Majoring in strategic communications and doubling minoring in athletic coaching and business management.
