2015 REDSHIRT JUNIOR SEASON
Academic All-MW selection … Appeared in 18 games for the Lobos with nine starts … Logged 817 minutes of playing time … Had an assist in the Lobos’ 4-1 victory over Idaho State (9-3-2015) … Took eight shots on the season with two on goal.
2014 JUNIOR SEASON
Did not make an appearance while recovering from torn ACL in previous season.
2013 SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in the first 14 matches of the season before suffering a torn ACL against Air Force … scored a pair of goals, both in conference play, and played 435 minutes … recorded four shots, and her two shots on net both turned into goals … scored the tying goal in a 2-1 win over San Jose State … scored UNM’s second goal against Wyoming in an eventual 3-2 double overtime loss … was named Mountain West All-Academic and a Lobo Scholar-Athlete.
2012 FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in 17 matches, the most of any Lobo freshmen in 2012 … played in 358 minutes between midfield and forward … recorded one assist on the season, taking three shots … her assist came in UNM’s 4-1 win over SMU, sending a through pass to Jordan Craig for a breakaway tally … was named Mountain West All-Academic … was also named Mountain West Scholar-Athlete and Lobo Scholar-Athlete.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered for four seasons at Arlington High School under coach Andrea Scott … had 36 goals and 36 assists for 108 points over her first three years … was named First Team All-District as a junior after leading her team to a 20-1-2 record and a District Championship … scored 14 goals and added 15 assists for 43 points as a junior … was named league MVP and team MVP … had 12 goals and 11 assists as a sophomore as Arlington went 17-3-2 … as a high school freshman scored 10 goals with 10 assists, helping Arlington for 15-4-3 … a member of AHS’s “A” honor roll, and of the National Honor Society.

Is the daughter of Ron and Claire Wheeler … her grandfather Jack Wheeler played for Lobo basketball from 1943-47 … had two uncles that played tennis at UNM: Gary (1976-77) and Jerry (1977-81), and her father Ron played tennis at UNM from 1976-80 … majoring in journalism and mass communications … favorite athlete is Emily Hunter … birthday is October 19, 1993.
