2014-15 (SOPHOMORE): Finished in an 11-way tie for 58th place during the stroke play portion of the Publinx Championships, birdied the first hole of a playoff to guarantee himself a spot in the match play portion where he would eventually fall to England’s Sam Horsfield 2 and 1 … Finished tied for 44th at 17-over par 230 (76-78-76) at the Gopher Invitational … Finished tied for 17th at five over 221 (74-74-73) at the Husky Invitational, helping New Mexico to a 6th place finish … Finished 7th at 1-under 215 (72-68-75) at the William H. Tucker invitational, where New Mexico claimed the title … At the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational Bevins finished tied for 26th at 2-under 214 (68-72-74) … Closing out the season with a 10-over 223 (76-73-74) and a tie for 28th at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate.

2013-14 (FRESHMAN): Played in 11 tournaments during his first season in the program, finished with four top-20 results … was part of the five-player group that won the MW Championship in Tucson, Ariz. … earned his first official collegiate victory by tying All-American Gavin Green for medalist honors at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate … tied for 10th at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate with a 6-under 207 … had a 13th place finish in the season-opening Gopher Invitational, finishing at 2-over 215.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Christian Brother High School and coach Kirk Purdy in Elk Grove, Calif. and rated by golfweek.com as the No. 7 player nationally in the class of 2013, and number two in the state of California … four-time varsity MVP … Christian Brothers won league championships in each of Bevins’ four seasons there … advanced to the round of 16 at the 2012 USGA Junior Amateur … finished third at both the 2012 AJGA Under Armour/Gary Woodland Championship as well as the AJGA Heather Farr Classic in April … finished as runner-up to fellow Lobo John Catlin at the Memorial Amateur Championship in May … qualified for three USGA events in 2012, including the 2012 USGA Amateur and USGA Publinks Championships.
