SENIOR (2015): Made just five starts before an elbow injury ended his season … went 1-1 with a 4.39 ERA … struck out season-high eight and did not allow an earned run in earning his only victory of the season against Utah Valley on March 1 … started UNM’s season-opener vs. Michigan State but did not factor in the decision after allowing three runs in 5.1 innings with four strikeouts … struck out 21 and walked just seven in 26.2 innings.
JUNIOR (2014): Started 15 games for UNM and went 6-6 with a 3.68 ERA in 88.0 innings … led the team with 65 strikeouts, including a career-high 11 vs. Jacksonville State on April 5 … earned his first win by striking out seven in 5.1 innings against Northern Colorado on March 2 … tossed a career-long 7.2 innings in the second game of a doubleheader at San Jose State on April 18, striking out six and allowing just two unearned runs on eight hits and no walks … hurled 7.0 shutout innings vs. San Diego State on May 3 with two strikeouts, no walks and just six hits allowed to earn Mountain West Pitcher of the Week honors … only walked 16 batters over his final 62.2 innings … in his Lobo debut he held San Diego hitless over the first five innings before finally allowing one run and one hit in the sixth.
