New Mexico Softball Signs Four in Early Signing Period — Nov. 19, 2011
JUNIOR YEAR (2015): Finished with a 2-5 record … Started 5 games in the circle with 35 total starts and 38 appearances as a designated hitter or pitcher … …finished the season hitting .341 with 29 hits and 26 RBIs…tied for first with a team high of 8 home runs on the season … season best of 4 RBIs against Utah State on March 21 … led the Lobos with a .694 slugging percentage … pitched 40.2 innings for the Lobos … finished with 17 strikeouts … picked up wins against Memphis and Boise State … Mountain West Academic All-Conference.
SOPHOMORE YEAR (2014): Finished with a 4-9 record in the circle with wins coming against Buffalo, Detroit, UTEP and New Mexico State…Had season-high of nine strikeouts on March 11 against UTEP…finished with a 7.38 earned run average…tallied 62 strikeouts in 92 innings…pitched four complete games…had 26 appearances.
FRESHMAN YEAR (2013) – Went 1-3 and posted a 5.21 ERA over 15 appearances and six starts in circle…threw three complete games and recorded a shut out win, also her first collegiate win, over IPFW on Feb. 17…allowed 48 hits and recorded 29 strikeouts as a rookie…had an opponent batting average of .267…also had three at-bats.
HIGH SCHOOL – Played for coach Ron Rivers at Heritage High school in Brentwood, Calif., … four-year letterwinner in softball…helped the Patriots to Bay Valley League Conference first-place finishes in 2011 and 2012 and third-place finishes in 2009 and 2010…named first team All-League pitcher 2010-12 and second team All-League pitcher in 2009…named Bay Valley MVP in 2012…named to the Best of Spring All-East Bay Area first team in 2011 and 2012 (Pitcher) and to the third team in 2010 (Utility)…two-time Contra Costa Times Player to Watch and four-time Contra Costa Times Player of the Week…named to Contra Costa Times’ Top 100 Athletes of the Year in 2012…ranked No. 13 nationally for an ERA of 0.53 in 2012 according to Max Preps Softball…four-time Distinguished Scholar Award recipient…played five summers of club ball (Delta Diamonds 14U, Sorcerers 18 Gold, All-American Sports Academy, Lady Hustle 18 Gold and Strike Zone-Ford).

I college football – Tim Danser at Brown University, 2004-07; Chris Danser at San Jose State, 2005-08; Kevin Danser at Stanford, 2009-present…enjoys horseback riding, swimming and outdoor activities…lists sushi as her favorite food and The Lion King as her favorite movie…favorite athlete is Kristina Thorson.
