2016 Indoors: Placed second in the men’s long jump with a mark of 24-9 (7.55m) at the Cherry & Silver Invitational … named MW Field Athlete of the Week on Jan. 26… finished third (24-1 ¾) in the long jump at the New Mexico Classic & Multis … finished seventh in the invitational section of the long jump at 24-3 at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational… earned Men’s Outstanding Performer honors at the MW Indoor Championships after he leaped 25 feet, 3 ½ inches (7.71 meters) for his second straight long jump title, while also placing second in the triple jump (50-10 ¾ [15.51m]) and fifth in the 60 (6.84 seconds).
2016 Outdoors:Posted a leap of 24 feet, 6 ½ inches in the long jump, good for second place overall and first collegiately at the the Sun Angel Classic… recorded a mark of 25-10 ¼ at the Bryan Clay Invitational for second collegiately… named MW Men’s Field Athlete of the Week on April 19… combined to run a winning time of 40.20 in the 4×100 meter relay and took runner-up honors in the long jump (24-9) at the Payton Jordan Invitational… winning mark of 25 feet, ½ inches in the long jump at the MW Outdoor Championships… leaped to eighth in the men’s long jump behind a mark of 24 feet, 10 ½ inches to advance to the NCAA Championships… took 23rd in the finals of the men’s long jump, leaping 23 feet, 5 ½ inches (7.15 meters) into a 2.5 meter/second headwind at the NCAA Championships.
2014-15
2015 Indoors: Competed at six meets … Opened with a second-place time of 6.94* in the 60-meter dash at the Air Force Collegiate Open … Ran to eighth in the 60 at the Lobo Open, finishing in 6.93* … Got his first chance in his forte, the long jump, at the Lobo Open, where he won the event with a mark of 25-2 3/4 (7.69m) … Ran 6.85* in the 60 at the New Mexico Team Invitational … Finished sixth in the long jump at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational with a leap of 24-7 1/4 (7.50m) … Won the long jump (24-11 3/4), placed third in the triple jump (49 1/4) and sxith in the 60 (6.80*) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships … Advanced to the NCAA Championships in the long jump, where he placed sixth with a leap of 25-4 3/4 (7.74m)
2015 Outdoors: Saw action at 11 meets … Opened at the Baldy Castillo Invitational, where he ran the opening leg for the Lobos’ 4×100 relay team as UNM placed third … Took second in the 200 at the Don Kirby Tailwind Invitational, running 21.27* … Won the long jump at the New Mexico Quadrangular with a mark of 24-9 1/4 (7.55m) … Took second in the long jump a the Bryan Clay Invitational, leaping 25-6 1/2 (7.78m) … Ran 10.67 in the 100 at the Beach Invitational … Won the 200 at the UTEP Twilight with a time of 21.21* … Won the long jump (25 1/2) and triple jump (50-6 3/4) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, while also placing fourth in the in the 200 (21.33) and second in the 4×100 … Advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the long jump, triple jump and 4×100 … Barely missed advancing to the NCAA Championships in the long jump, finishing 13th with a leap of 25-4 3/4
