ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s basketball team will take its three-win streak on the road on Wednesday in search of its second road win of the season. The Lobos tip off against the Aggies at 7 p.m. MT in Logan, Utah.

The Lobos (11-11, 6-3 MW) enter the contest coming off of a home victory against Colorado State on Saturday, extending the UNM home win streak to seven. The Lobos are 5-1 over their last six games.

Utah State (12-11, 5-5 MW) is coming off of a pair of league victories following a four-loss streak. Most recently, the Aggies claimed a 65-62 win over Fresno State on the road after a 71-49 home win over Air Force on Jan. 24.

SERIES HISTORY
Utah State leads the all-time series between the two squads 22-9, dating back to the first meeting on Feb. 2, 1952. UNM came away with the victory in the teams’ last meeting on Jan. 24, 2017, taking down the Aggies 74-61 in Albuquerque. The teams split last season as Utah State claimed the first meeting of 2016-17 by a score of 79-76 in Logan.

Utah State has won three of the last five meetings between the teams.

The Lobos are 2-12 on the road in Logan and 7-10 at home.

UNM head coach Paul Weir enters the game 11-11 in his first season at the helm of the Lobos, 39-17 in his career. Utah State head coach Tim Duryea is 42-43 in his third season with the Aggies and in his career.
