Rio Grande Rivalry Broadcast on Stadium, Facebook Live

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rio Grande Rivalry matchup between the Lobos and New Mexico State, September 9 at 6 p.m. at Dreamstyle Stadium, was one of six games selected, through a partnership with Stadium, the Mountain West to air exclusively on Facebook. The game is a part of Facebook’s first-ever Mountain West package.
 
The Lobo game is one of a six-game package announced by the Mountain West and Stadium. The game will be the first ever Lobo Football game to be broadcast via Facebook.  In June, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that the platform had surpassed over 2 billion monthly users world-wide, giving the Rio Grande Rivalry game unique and tremendous exposure.
 
In 2016, the MW was featured in the first-ever live football game on Twitter.

For the second consecutive year, the Mountain West kicks off the college football season when Colorado State hosts Oregon State on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 12:30 p.m. MT/11:30 a.m. PT on CBS Sports Network.
