ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Lobo Football’s Third Annual Spring Showcase, taking place Saturday, April 22 at University Stadium will feature not just football for the college kids, but local children as well. The Lobos will host a free youth clinic immediately following the Showcase. Gates for the Spring Showcase will open at 10:30 a.m., with parking and admission free for the Showcase.
Fans should park in the Stadium West parking lot off of University Avenue, and fans can enter at Gates 3 and 4. The stadium video board will be on during the Showcase for fans as well as during the kid’s clinic. Courtesy of Lobo Hospitality fans can purchase specialty concessions items including a Lobo Chicken Wrap, Chipotle Lime Beef Tacos and a Howlin’ Chicken Salad.
There will also be a Select-A-Seat event in the U.S. Bank Club Level in the South End Zone Tow Diehm Building and in the stands at University Stadium during the Showcase. Members of the Lobo Athletics Ticket Sales Team will be on-hand to answer any questions regarding 2017 Lobo Football Season Tickets. The Lobo Ticket Office located at the northwest corner of University Stadium will be open for fans to purchase and renew 2017 Lobo Football Season Tickets. Season Ticket packages can be purchased for as low as $86.
The Spring Showcase is brought to Lobo fans by 770 KKOB & 610 KNML.
In addition, the Lobo Den Store will be open during the event on the North Concourse. Fans will be able to take advantage of great deals on Lobo merchandise.
For the kids’ clinic, all children, ages 5 – 14, will be invited to attend and they will enter through the southwest corner of the field. All parents are invited to stay and take pictures from the stands. The Lobo Football team will sign autographs after the clinic. Participating children should have proper footwear for the event.
The Spring Showcase is a culmination of the Lobo Football team’s spring practice schedule. The Lobos are looking to build upon a record setting season that included a Gildan New Mexico Bowl Championship, leading the NCAA in rushing and leading the Mountain West Conference in scoring.
