Lobos Host Four "Friends and Family" Days over Holiday Break

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The best type of presents are the ones that are free.  With that in mind, Lobo Men’s Basketball has quite a gift coming for Lobo students with a valid ID.
 
The University of New Mexico men’s basketball team will host five “Friends and Family” nights over the holiday break at Dreamstyle Arena – The Pit, allowing Lobo students the chance to bring three extra family members or friends to join them in the student section.  The best part … the extra tickets are FREE!

With the new Howl student-section getting more popular, the “Friends and Family” nights over the Holiday Break are a great way to let everyone experience the fun and excitement of Lobo Basketball from The Howl. 

The five games include a pair of pre-Christmas games; on Dec. 19 versus Rice and on Dec. 22 versus Prairie View A&M.  After the holiday, three conference games are also a part of “Friends and Family” nights with Dec. 27 versus Air Force, Jan. 6 versus San José State and Jan. 10 versus Wyoming.
 
At all five of these games, UNM students can bring up to three friends and family to the game with them rather than pay $10 for a guest ticket as usual.  All students need to do to take advantage of the opportunity is bring their guests to the student entrance with their student ID. 

The Lobos will be back in action on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. when they play No. 23 Arizona followed by three of the five “Friends and Family” nights. That game is a “White Out”, with all fans asked to wear white.
