Single-Game Ticket Sales Open Saturday at 12:01 am

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M, — Single-game tickets for all 17 men’s and 21 women’s home games will soon be available online at www.unmtickets.com and in person as the Lobos are gearing up for an exciting 2017-18 season. As always, fans that purchase tickets online may choose the print-at-home option for tickets, a great feature for all Lobo fans. 

Single-game tickets will go on sale Saturday, Oct. 21 at 12:01 a.m. exclusively online while in-person sales will be available starting Monday, Oct. 23, at the Lobo Ticket Office in Dreamstyle Arena – The Pit, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Tickets may also be purchased through the phone center (M-F, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., 505-925-5858).
 

Fans coming directly to Dreamstyle Arena can check out the Lobo Den Store, powered by your UNM Bookstores! The Lobo Den is chock full of Lobo and Nike gear, replica jerseys, team apparel, fan items and souvenirs, all available to make your Lobo basketball experience an unforgettable one. The Lobo Den is open from noon to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.

With season ticket sales underway, fans will not want to wait to get their single-game tickets. Games that are expected to sell fast are non-conference matchups with Tennessee Tech (Nov. 21), New Mexico State (Dec. 9) and Arizona (Dec. 16). Conference games expected to fill the stands include Air Force (Dec. 27), Wyoming (Jan. 10), San Diego State (Jan. 20) and UNLV (Feb. 25). 
 

On the women’s side, fans will not want to miss non-conference matchups like Marquette (Nov. 13), New Mexico State (Nov. 18), Texas Tech (Dec. 6) and Navy (Dec. 10).  In addition, conference games that are expected to be popular include the Lobos vs. reigning Mountain West Tournament champion Boise State (Jan. 3), Fresno State (Jan. 13) and defending MW regular-season champion Colorado State (Feb. 27). UNM will also host its annual Thanksgiving Tournament (Nov. 24-26) that will feature Illinois, UC Irvine and Wichita State.

New Mexico men’s basketball opens its season on Nov. 11 when the squad hosts Northern New Mexico. The women’s team will take the court for its two exhibition contests on Nov. 1 against Eastern New Mexico at 7 p.m. and on Nov. 5 against Fort Lewis at 2 p.m. 

The women’s team opens regular-season play on Nov. 10 against Western Michigan where Mike Bradbury will kick off his second season as head coach of the Lobo women’s team, while Paul Weir will begin his first season at the helm of the Lobo men’s team on Nov. 11 against Northern New Mexico at 7 p.m.
