CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced Tuesday and four Lobos made the list. Darian Zachek, Eva Saulnier, Alexandra Moisand and Ingrid Gutierrez were among a total of 828 women’s collegiate golfers that were recognized.

“We are so proud of our student-athletes,” said head coach Jill Trujillo. “This is a great accomplishment for our program. We can’t say enough about our team and their work ethic both on and off the golf course.”

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletes. The minimum cumulative GPA to qualify for the team is 3.50.

Recently announced, the team finished with a spring GPA of 3.86. It was a department high for Lobo women’s sports and the eighth straight semester for the golf program with at least a 3.7.
