ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – The University of New Mexico and Levy Restaurants today announced a multi-year athletics hospitality partnership. Levy, the premier dining and hospitality provider for sports and entertainment venues across North America, will handle premium dining, concessions and catering operations across the university’s athletic venues, including University Stadium and WisePies Arena.

“When you come to a Lobo game, we want to deliver the whole package, and we know we can do that with Levy’s partnership, given their impressive collegiate portfolio,” said Brad Hutchins, Deputy Athletic Director for External Operations at The University of New Mexico. “Levy Restaurants will be the key in enhancing the typical sporting experience and showing our fans what elevated game-day dining is like.”

“Lobo fans have incredible passion – from the deafening thunder of The Pit to the renewed energy at Branch Field,” said Andy Lansing, President and CEO of Levy Restaurants. “We intend to bring that same level of passion to our partnership with The University of New Mexico in crafting an exciting dining and hospitality program that could only be tasted in the heart of Albuquerque.”

Levy will refresh the Lobos dining experience with locally inspired flavors, infusing New Mexico green chiles across menus in dishes such as green chile stew, nachos and house-smoked BBQ. Partnerships with favorite local restaurants will bring the best of Albuquerque to Lobo fans. Premium seating areas will feature rotating chef tables with local meats and produce, served at personalized carving stations. The partnership will also introduce beer sales at University Stadium during football games for the first time.

The University of New Mexico joins Levy’s portfolio including high-profile collegiate programs spanning five major athletics conferences: University of Colorado Boulder, Iowa State, University of Missouri, Ohio State, Oregon State, Purdue, Texas A&M, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and most recently, Notre Dame. Levy’s reach extends deep into professional sports with venues such as Staples Center, Churchill Downs, United Center, Wrigley Field, Chase Field, Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, home of the U.S. Open, and the future home of the Atlanta Falcons, Mercedes Benz Stadium.
