ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico men’s basketball program has been out in the community, most recently holding a camp for the Special Olympics and Legacy Church in Wise Pies Arena.

The Lobos invited 60 Special Olympic athletes out to WisePies Arena for an exclusive basketball camp experience. The athletes received a tour of the entire arena and worked one-on-one with the coaches.
Prior to the camp, head coach Craig Neal spoke to the Laguna Development Corporation, and LoboTV was on hand to highlight the event.
Coach Neal spoke to nearly 300 employees at Laguna Development’s Route 66 Casino. Neal spoke on leadership, goal setting and how to breed success. Prior to the event, Neal and the Lobos held a basketball camp for the families of Laguna.
